When you open load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust bank 4 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak or bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high is the final reason of the code. |
29164 Possible Causes:
29164 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 29164 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure, erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
