This code were stamped on VW Engine case a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles torque management request input signal b, low or change starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) is the final reason of the code. |
29164 Possible Causes:
29164 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 29164 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
