This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground or shift up/down wire, open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
29161 Possible Causes:
29161 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 29161 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake air heater "a", circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
