29146 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles charge pressure fan relay (j712), open and wait then glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
29146 Possible Causes:
29146 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 29146 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant temperature sensor, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
