The problem is about shift up/down wire, short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit high or torque management feedback signal "b", high is the final reason of the code. |
29122 Possible Causes:
29122 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off

What To Check After Fixing 29122 Code
- Inspect all the connections manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
