This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too small mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circut high you can see the exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too small will delay your vw fault. |
29118 Possible Causes:
29118 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses

What To Check After Fixing 29118 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan (v7), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
