This code were stamped on VW Engine case relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake engine temperature too low and crankshaft position signal output, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
29116 Possible Causes:
29116 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 29116 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, system too rich at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
