This something to do with the intake camshaft timing mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground or transmission solenoid power relay, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
29109 Possible Causes:
29109 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 29109 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
