29101 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit range / performance also exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high is the final reason of the code. |
29101 Possible Causes:
29101 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 29101 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signals swapped, bank 1 sensor 3 - /bank 2 sensor 3
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
