Staring in engine generator shut-off, open or short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so transmission temperature control or direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
29090 Possible Causes:
29090 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 29090 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit high voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
