This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'h' primary control, short to plus the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles vehicle speed signal, error message from instrument cluster or reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
29074 Possible Causes:
29074 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 29074 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit range / performance bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
