This code were stamped on VW Engine case bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to b+ or transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal is the final reason of the code. |
29048 Possible Causes:
29048 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 29048 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
