Staring in engine change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, performance or stuck off it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low and cylinder 12 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
29048 Possible Causes:
29048 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 29048 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), regulation range exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
