When you open valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'c' primary control, circuit low . So for next secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
29040 Possible Causes:
29040 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 29040 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of air condition ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
