Staring in engine data-bus powertrain, implausible message from engine controller retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to ground and wait then o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
29031 Possible Causes:
29031 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 29031 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator valve (n276), mechanical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
