Diagnosing engine bar with hydraulic pump for overdrive / low range (v190), electrical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit you can see the transmission solenoid power relay, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
29018 Possible Causes:
29018 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 29018 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
