The problem is about secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), no / incorrect basic setting/adaptation or change charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
29018 Possible Causes:
29018 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
