When you open evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit high voltage causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system wheel speed signal 2, range / performance also exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, electrical error in the electric circuit is the final reason of the code. |
29017 Possible Causes:
29017 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 29017 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission control unit relay, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
