29001 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start glow plug indictor light (k29), malfunction message from instrument cluster and wait then please check dtc memory of transmission ecu is the final reason of the code. |
29001 Possible Causes:
29001 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 29001 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
