This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle plate control 2, malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high and injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
28999 Possible Causes:
28999 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 28999 Code
- Inspect all the connections change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
