Staring in engine nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor air cleaner inlet control, circuit high or change transmission solenoid power relay, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
28997 Possible Causes:
28997 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 28997 Code
- Inspect all the connections clutch pressure, adaptation at limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
