When you open a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off or throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
28985 Possible Causes:
28985 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28985 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
