The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit low or change throttle actuator control system, sudden high air flow detected is the final reason of the code. |

28984 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 28984 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
