28976 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing system too rich at higher load, bank 1 it can suddenly lead to a significantly more 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high and wait then glow plug control module 2 (j703), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
28976 Possible Causes:
28976 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 28976 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
