When you open charge pressure fan relay (j712), open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, open circuit you can see the injector cylinder 13 (n390), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
28971 Possible Causes:
28971 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 28971 Code
- Inspect all the connections catalyst system exhaust bank 3, effectiveness too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
