This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake intake manifold runner control, lower stop not reached . On the other hand throttle actuator control system, forced idle is the final reason of the code. |
28961 Possible Causes:
28961 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 28961 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
