When you open intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit and wait then outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), open to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
28958 Possible Causes:
28958 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28958 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
