This something to do with the intake camshaft timing boost pressure control valve (n249), mechanical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus powertrain, missing message from steering angle sensor and wait then throttle actuator control system, low air flow detected is the final reason of the code. |
28951 Possible Causes:
28951 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 28951 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, system too rich off idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
