When you open turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor signal buzzer activation, short to b+ or change ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
28946 Possible Causes:
28946 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28946 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
