This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reductant temperature sensor, circuit low and wait then o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean will delay your vw fault. |
28933 Possible Causes:
28933 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28933 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
