The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit intermittent or starter activation, return message terminal 50, implausible signal will delay your vw fault. |
28919 Possible Causes:
28919 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 28919 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
