Diagnosing engine bar with control module, coding fault retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start coolant pump control, circuit range / performance and wait then diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
28918 Possible Causes:
28918 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28918 Code
- Inspect all the connections vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
