The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault injector control pressure, too high - engine off retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold runner bank 1, high temperature or fuel pump, mechanical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |

28916 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off

What To Check After Fixing 28916 Code
- Inspect all the connections potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
