This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature control bank 4, range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration and wait then radiator exhaust control 1, short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
28916 Possible Causes:
28916 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28916 Code
- Inspect all the connections control of valves pump / nozzle, electrical errors in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
