28908 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner control: open stop outside of valid range retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start nox sensor bank 1, circuit and throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit is the final reason of the code. |
28908 Possible Causes:
28908 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 28908 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger control module 2, implausible message
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
