The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data-bus powertrain, missing message from engine controller (ecu) it can suddenly lead to a significantly more glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+ or throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation is the final reason of the code. |
28906 Possible Causes:
28906 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 28906 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump, short circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
