This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control module 1 for cooling fan, excess temperature It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake data bus powertrain, missing message from control module electric parking brake you can see the oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit will delay your vw fault. |
28901 Possible Causes:
28901 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 28901 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control motor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
