Staring in engine please check coding of ecus in data bus powertrain run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open or exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, signal too slowly is the final reason of the code. |
28900 Possible Causes:
28900 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28900 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator exhaust control 2, short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
