Staring in engine camshaft position signal output, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system data bus powertrain, missing message from control module battery monitoring or change transmission ratio, implausible is the final reason of the code. |
28897 Possible Causes:
28897 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 28897 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
