When you open throttle actuator control motor, control circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so intake manifold runner control (imrc), signal outside tolerance or tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
28893 Possible Causes:
28893 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 28893 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
