This code were stamped on VW Engine case please check dtc memory of central electric ecu mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor injection pump, timing calibration not learned and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
28889 Possible Causes:
28889 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 28889 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'k' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
