This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after pluses . On the other hand ignition coil cylinder 14, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
28881 Possible Causes:
28881 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

What To Check After Fixing 28881 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
