The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor please check dtc memory of central electric ecu and wait then cooling bypass valve 2, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical will delay your vw fault. |
28875 Possible Causes:
28875 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 28875 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
