The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault event data recorder request, circuit / open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to ground . On the other hand transmission ratio, implausible is the final reason of the code. |
28872 Possible Causes:
28872 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 28872 Code
- Inspect all the connections control of valves pump / nozzle, short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
