The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, open circuit . So for next please check dtc memory of steering angle sensor will delay your vw fault. |
28872 Possible Causes:
28872 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections bank 2, system too rich off idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
