The problem is about fuel injection valve 4 (n369), open circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low and wait then control module defect will delay your vw fault. |
28871 Possible Causes:
28871 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 28871 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control (imrc), signal outside tolerance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
