This something to do with the intake camshaft timing b camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system data bus powertrain, missing message from central electronics and exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, open is the final reason of the code. |
28870 Possible Causes:
28870 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 28870 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
