Staring in engine engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to b+ or change direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
28868 Possible Causes:
28868 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 28868 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of air condition ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
