Accumulated in electronic control units so control module 1 for cooling fan, excess temperature retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start turbo/super charger over-boost condition you can see the throttle plate control 2, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
28866 Possible Causes:
28866 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28866 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'l' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
