28863 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 4 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak and wait then engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |

28863 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 28863 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
