This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of transmission ecu and friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
28856 Possible Causes:
28856 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28856 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, lower limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
