When you open ignition coil 'i' primary control, short to plus to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so ignition coil 'd' primary control, circuit low you can see the tiptronic switch down, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
28850 Possible Causes:
28850 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 28850 Code
- Inspect all the connections manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
