28846 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit low and engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
28846 Possible Causes:
28846 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 28846 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 3 (n242), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
