The problem is about linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more valve for coolant system circuit, low / intermittent and wait then data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 2 is the final reason of the code. |
28845 Possible Causes:
28845 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 28845 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
