Accumulated in electronic control units so catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start clutch torque adaptation 2: adaptation limit reached or change throttle actuator control system, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |

28844 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
